The paulownia tree is known for its strength and longevity. For this reason, the paulownia leaf motif has long symbolized prayers for family prosperity, long life, and flourishing success. Water, regarded as the source of life, represents purification and harmony. The image of water flowing endlessly expresses the continuous passage of time and subtly evokes an awareness of life’s impermanence. By incorporating the motif of flowing water into the design, this work conveys a heartfelt wish: that amidst the constant flow of time and change, one may find peace and serenity.
